Tryweryn Fest

We have Just returned from a great weekend in North Wales. On the drive up we visited the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct to take a walk along the 1007ft aqueduct towering 126ft over the River Dee, its amazing to think this took 10 years to build and was completed in 1805, well worth a visit if your driving up the A5 towards Llangollen.
The main reason for our visit was to take part in in the 2013 Tryweryn Festival at the National White Water Centre near Bala, North Wales. Run by the River Legacy Project with events and activities throughout the weekend, we took part in the photo competition with photos that Lou took of me at Lee Valley and the Tryweryn winning two great little Lowe Pro camera bags for 2nd and 3 places.
I took part in the Big Dog ‘Radical Rodeo’ with marks been awarded for traditional old school moves and going big with new school moves,  only because I happened to be playing in the worlds hole when every one turned up to take part.
